sounds better low to med volume than my 5.1 system, unless I turn the 5.1 up loud, made the world of difference to mom's flat screen; and you dont have to mess about with lots of wires.

Tick. Speakers need to move air. As with all good things bigger normally equals better. I dont let my TV do any sound, Its good for video, Hifi is for audio. It all works together
