Get it done rather than arguing over policy, otherwise the club could fall apart under its own internal arguing.

To be honest if I was the existing chairman I'd be really cheesed off with all the spouting that goes on in here - someone has been constructive - get behind them, Roger as Chairman made a decision and if the individual concerned gets a result then everyone should be happy, if theres no result we don't lose out.

Grow up

That's the most hypocritical statement on this thread

Then you should tackle your concerns in private directly with the person or group concerned, not beat down the poor guys moral and enthusiasm who's giving the (much needed) help, by airing your opinions publicly for all to read/mis-read..

I've also a right to an opinion and if you want to beat someone with a big stick PM instead of putting someone down in public.

My turn.

I was the chairman and I was going to stand down as I have other commitments now.
As far as the track and the Counsil is. I cant beleive that no one has spoken to me before going and speaking to the counsil.
Like I have said from the start of the track build, they are going to build the new gym and then a service road and then they will organise parking for us.
But now a new chairman has been selected with out the commitee then I think this has just shown everybody what is going to happen.
This was my track and my design and I spent hours with the builders.
Good luck and I will be joining another club.
Thanks for all your respect.

That's me being tactfull you'd know if I'd had my big stick out there was no derograty comments towards Darren like I've said it should all have been done through the proper channels ie a AGM

Ill just turn up race and go home from now on that's it

I for one would like to thank both Stuart and Roger for all their hard work over the years, and the countless times they have helped and advised me in so many ways.
I visited the new track for the first time 2 weeks ago, and I really enjoyed the day. I was very impressed with how friendly all the new faces were, who I had not met before, and how much of a chilled out vibe the day's racing gave me.
I also enjoyed talking to the newer drivers and offering my help and advice on how to get the most from their racing.
The parking situation is unfortunate, and the football guys are'nt being very hospitable, but i'm sure if everybody pulls together and sing off the same hymn sheet, good things will come from it in the end. Dont give them what they want and have you fighting between yourselves.
We're all better than that.

I think this club needs its AGM asap I personaly love Bury Rc club If it was not for you guys I would not have got back into rc after all the years off.
I think all the key lads there are fantastic Matt, Dave ,Si, Rob,Stu Have all had input and helped me alot to get back competetive they are all great blokes. I would be a shame to ruin such a great long standing club over a couple of miner issues people are having. Lets just get the AGM sorted out have a vote on comittee members and lets get back to what we all love which is a quility track and some great fun racing( I will get of my soapbox now)

An AGM or some sort of meeting is needed.

I agree with buds somewhat. (For a change )

There needs to be more structure in the club, at committee level. Roger does a wicked job in Race Control but it looks to me hes not getting the backup he needs.

I was speaking to a driver (Team Driver) who was racing with us, who shal remain nameless. "Who said any decent drivers wont come to bury if they see this"

Children on the track who are not racing. I saw Rob ask them but they ignored him, Also Roger asked a child to leave the loop alone, He blatantly kept touching it. Parents need to control kids.

A new drive must be first or 2nd time racing. Running his car on the track while people are racing. Rodger asked him to stop buy yet he still did it?

its all down to respect. Ive done a season at Bury, My first. I have nothing but respect for the club I've had a great time and made some good friends. But something need sorting and fast because its getting out of control.

On the subject of the thread, Darren spoke to Rodger first.??

So come on lets have an AGM get the committee sorted and have a good time racing!

I gotta send my thanks to Dave, Matt B, and Stu, if it werent for these guy I also wouldnt be here where I am now!

I think alot of whats happening is posts are getting taken out of context and are misunderstood and this turns into an all out into a brawl.

I play my part where I can in setup and packing the track, I volunteer to marshall all the time.

But as I said a big thanks to those above, racedays are chilled and enjoyable experiances

Its what happens on oople thats mis-interpreted, Its not so much about respect, we all have respect for each other wether its a long serving bury member or a turd like myself, im the king of being mis-understood. I think its more about working together than trying to be the lone ranger to earn brownie points.

just my 2p worth, we can turn this into a positive thing if all these grudges, bitching, egos all just back down and work together.

I thought id say that even though i have been to the club only a handful of times i have been made to feel very welcome by the members and gathered loads of tips and advice along the way.
The atmosphere is brilliant at bury club , very chilled and we do have all quality of drivers from top pro to novice so its easy to slot in.

Cheers to all members and commitee and see you guys soon.
