how did you split the diff thrust race and has it gone back together with no problems?

You can route the servo and speedo wires under the ariel mount to keep iut of the way of the belts.
With the switch, I would move it further in as the body can turn the car off when landing off a big jump. |

Looking good, you probably want to cut a coil off the rear springs. They are too long as std - you can see it coilbound in one of your pics.
14AWG helps to keep the wiring neat and makes no power difference on track. |

The rears have 1 coil cut already but i made a bit of a mess of it, new ones on the way

If you can find the original Tamiya steering arms let me know mate, i am a Tamiya fanatic since i was 12 and have numerous places where i can get parts form but didn´t find the ANYWHERE!

yeah ive dreweled over your collection, also been a big tamiya fan since my first 2 cars Boomerang and TA02 escort cosworth. Ive managed to get my collection jump started in the last few months again

The cut part can go low if you bend the last bit of the cut part so it resembles a normal spring, that way if wont pop off the retainer.
