I understnd why ppl may be thinking of changing back to what they know, even i have had that thought, but i have decided to change the car to rear motor and i'm just going to keep working on the car for the rest of the year its a new car and a 1st for Losi in a number of years so perfection is not going to come straight out of the box.. but it will come

(I Hope)

I love craigs car, it's incredible. But as Fabs is struggling to source the gearboxes then i can't afford to take that risk

Love the 22. kept my X6 for a good few weeks to make sure the Losi was going to be good enough to replace it. Wasn't sure for a while, but after much fiddling with weight and set up on the chassis, i'm now well pleased and the X6 has moved on to a new owner.
I like the fact that this is a totally new machine and no-one has the ultimate base set up yet. To many people are bailing out on the 22 because they think its rubbish for not being the mutts nuts straight out of the box.
This car takes a beating too when you arse it up, which is a relief when your attacked by the rest of the field!!!
It's real satisfiying to be able to try a different set of adjustments and feel the difference and see the laps increase. 2 minor adjustments at club the other week saw my first race put 15 laps in, then followed by 18 then 19 and 20 in the final.
By the end of the season some good set ups will be sorted for the car and we'll see them even faster than they are now.
As far as lack of forward traction goes, i had to dial some out as there was so much of it, i struggled to stop it going straight on while on the gas. Same sort of thing went for the steering when turning in. It was so aggressive i had to calm that down to stop it swapping ends.
The biggest effect on the cars handling was adding 110gram of lead under the lipo and 45grams on the rear end.
