Its only a small box, she folds up rather well. But the smell is terrible, seeing as I wrapped it in November.

Well it turns up santa was just late!

I got a photography book by Alain Briot, as well as one of his photos

Alain Briot's site - Amazing photographer one of the few I truely admire.

Tickets to see Mark Knopfler in may and some new sailing gloves.

Which reminds me Jimmy, I was going to ask for a nice 'how to' article on how you took your Tamiya Tamtech pics in the micro thread - similar to your http://www.oople.com/rc/photos/artic...to1/index.html article. Would be cool to help some of us home studio plebs to get better pictures on your site

Good thinking - I don't use anything too special - in fact most are taken on a bit of paper in the kitchen. I shall try lay down my novice techniques in words

Speaking of tamtechs, the next micro national on the 6th Jan will be my first outing with the new cam. To be perfectly honest after the pinnacle of going to the worlds, it's been hard to get motivated in a badly lit sports hall. The new cam gives me something new to learn and keep me interested and excited about taking photos.
I want to do more non-rc photography this year too, the motocross I went to last year was great but I've done nothing else all this year but RC stuff. I think we're off to some rallying in feb.

Went out today to a nasty dirt carpark to get some shots of the Durga for the review - raining and overcast. Got a few half decent images before my fingers were too cold to move. As soon as we got back and sat down for Xmas dinner the glorious sunshine came out. Typical!

Well since NONE of the 7 or 8 Christmas packages managed to navigate the Chilean and UK postal services successfully, I just got a couple of little things off my flat mates -

A skirt, a bracelet and a big organiser thing.

Christmas is a bit rubbish without presents I have to say!
