hated your fs?

I have never known anyone to hate the kyosho fs. It's like one of the top cars you could ever own. I had one myself, but for some reason sold it, as usual!

I hated the b44 and dex410 when I had them, too twitchy for my liking doesn't matter how much you tame them down.

Agreed about the Durango, but yup I hated my FS. Just couldn't get on with it. Horses for courses.

I'm rolling with a 511 in a few weeks.

I owned a Tamiya DB01R, TRF502X, Durango DEX410R, DEX410, B44. Drove a TRF501XWE and TRF511.
I am not a good driver i have to say. Apart from the B44 (i didnīt like the quality of metal parts in comparison to Tamiya and i couldnīt get on with shimming the diffs right) i like all of these cars. For an average driver the differences that these cars have in handling are not big. Maybe the Durango is a bit special as i think its aggressive handling makes it REALLY fast in the hands of a pro.

Why do you choose 511 over 502? Is the drive train ok if it's very dusty?
And since the 502 came out, is there any possibility that the 511 will be discontinue soon? I'm afraid if this happening, it will be difficult to get parts.

I agree with the b44, even on photos 502 looks more delicate

I'd say,go down to your track and ask people if you can try there cars before you decide.
Actually, I want to try different brand other than kyosho because my offroad cars are always been kyosho. Just want something new.

I don't have a chance to try other than DEX410, since there are only few ppl running 4wd buggy and all using DEX410, but they mostly run 4WD SCT for now

Order the 511 Front and Rear (long) Diff cover from Fredrik Emilsson in Sweden and there wonīt be any issue on dusty tracks with little stones.
They really work and many people use them.

I'm currently running without the diffcovers and my rear diff does get gritty a bit sooner then i'd like it. However the rest of the drivetrain has held up fine.
A very small stone in the spur once but that can happen with any car.

Rear diff cover is on my 'to order' list tho
