Well taking Kyosho Vikings LRP X11 5.5 on 17/78 for the Lazer which has a 2.5:1 FD then you get 11.47:1
If you take the Novak 5.5R (sintered) motors in BJ4s etc then you get around 10.25:1 to 9.75:1 Hope that helps.
