Really nice design. I like the simplicity of it. Very neat and tidy.
It's 3mm thick at the back of the chassis and the gearbox and motor mount are interlocked with machined in dowels. It really is a quality piece of engineering. I've had a number of crashes and bad landings in testing with no issues.

I was lucky enough to see a prototype of this and the quality of the cnc chassis and gearbox was to F1 standards!!

Just goes to show that british engineers can still top all forms of motorsport.

I'm sure it will not be easy to build or design a good working car ... but i don't see it as very unique when you build or design a mid-motored car, these days (after the X6, the cougar, the new durango 2WD-prototypes, the new Team Losi Racing 22 coming out soon ...,
after multiple RB5-midmotorkits that have prooved it to be a good concept, after such RB5-midmotor-kits having been designed, build AND produced by other people who have taken fiancial risks to produce such a kit.

Don't get me wrong. I'm quite sure this kit will be value for money and it wil certainly improve the easy of driving an RB5
... but saying that this is unique IMHO is like ignoring the people who have allready done so and I that doesn't give them the credit they deserve.

Sure, it's nice, and sure it is good looking, ... and offcourse the design will differ from allready existing kits, but I can see a LOT of similarities.
But maybe I see it wrongly and/or overlooking some things?
Please proove me I'm wrong.

looking at the pictures: isn't there included an extra idler gear + shaft for the gearbox?
You sure gonna need one extra if you want to build the kit
