true points above apart from a 6.5 is not mental at all in a b4 almost everyone at our club southport run that motor with a wide range of drive abilty
the lipos im using are 5000 45c with the 6.5 novak gtb full punch all round and i drive it around no probs but still get passed down the straight
even in my t4 i run the 6.5 or some times 5.5
another point is i found that with so many people swapping other to 2.4 ghz i cant renember the last time i had to change my 40mhz crystal again just to save money

setup system to me is a very strange thing not to have, why would you not what to know that you have the correct amount of toe in/out on the car,

but then again i was a TC driver for around 10 years..

You would very probably find that you would be a lot quicker over the course of 5-6 minutes with the 7.5 geared nice and long and a smooth driving style than the guy going down the straight the fastest...

Dragsters don't like corners

You can keep an eye on the settings with the camber gauge included in the kit and a flat surface. Toe-in or out is a case of setting it to something that feels good and then running it. It will change the first time you stuff it into a track marker or off a jump anyway

i raced one of the younger racers who was running a 7.5 and i was mid b final where with mine mid a ????
and i ve never had a problem with corners, although i can see where your coming from
sorry mate but i have to disagree with that one or we would all use 7.5's
any way getting back to the thread every one has there opinion
usually i find the guys who pass me on the straight i can catch in the infeild
if anything im still quicker with my 5.5 but we usually save them for the 4wd but somtime they get put in the 2wds

at least you wont need a com trueing machine like the old days.

Admittedly I have gone down the 2nd hand route with everything but i'm about set up having spent £300. Bit of a risk I suppose though....

well the 6.5 has been ordered, if it's a bit on the mental side, then thats wher the radio comes in, with the TH Speed or TH Cuve. evry driver has loads of hidden set-up thats not on ther car but on ther radio.

Well done, 6.5 all the way!

We will bash those TC bad habits out of you quickly.
