James,

Just a thought, but if your project might hold potential to host BRCA events you might want to consider speaking to the BRCA Exec ([email protected]) as they hold alot of "weight" when it comes to your "showing reasonable demand" thingy?

They might even be able to help out with persuading those that need persuading etc?

Just a thought

The indoors track sounds like a brilliant idea!

This sounds too good to be true !

Can you give us a few more details ? Is it going to be simply a covered track, or an actual building with the track inside ?

Is it a private venture, or are you getting any funding or similar ?

Good luck though chaps, always was on the cards for me to do if my lotto numbers ever came up !

Thankyou to everyone who signed our petition, unfortunately we still haven't got planning permission for a building for a dirt track.

I've just employed the services of a consultant to put a case forward for it, unfortunately it will cost several thousand pounds which we would much rather spend on the facility than wasted on red tape. Soo frustrating

How come so much? Maybe it's worth putting up a donation page of some sort to help out?
Anything I can do to help just let me know

Its £2500 just for the fee to the council to re-submit the planning application and around £1000 for the consultancy fees.
I don't think it would be right to ask for donations for something that might not come off.
What would be more useful if it does come off is peoples skills - ie ive got a huge industrial heater that will run on waste oil, so we could heat the building for free but need a plumber to install it all

Man power is always welcome we had a great group build the astro RHR track, but it was always the same few every work day..... Don't want too many "bosses" though I hate design by committee
