I think the reason they target 'small' 'personal' sites is that they don't have the skills to do things like google, or msn or the big players on the internet.

they just research the web for posted 'loop holes' in certain version of forums and portals and use the known exploits.

i did a full scan on norton last night after going on to doughtys site, and nothing found, so either the firewall is keeping stuff out or there is no virus going around with it

They are just changing code in the forum software where there are holes. I don't think there is any threat of viruses unless you downloaded something and opened it up manually. Keep your spyware blockers updated.

Default Virus Software

AVG is not that good at finding viruses and spyware, If you using a seperate spyware as well like spybot or Stinger you stand a chance but if youve been hit by a hacker youll probably find that the Virus doubles whenever you turn your PC on (un-traceable).
I Recomend that you try www.ewido.net and download there free edition. Its a Mal-Ware checker and finds alot more than usual freebies (AVG, Spybot).

oh and in scanner settings, set it to check every file.

I have not finished yet, I should be able to merge the current and the backup SQL database to get it all more recent

the music and that flag were pretty cool though, Jimmy, any chance of a turkish flag sticker?

rofl... I got it back quite close to how it was, some problems still to work out.

I have seen what the hack *should* look like and he made a real bodge of his hack on my site...

the proper hack looks pretty good actually.... lol
