Some people have cut the B44 chassis the same way as the B44.1 and redrilled the servo holes too. That lets you fit the bulldog shell.
The smaller spur will fit straight in too.
I think each of the changes make a small improvement that makes it worth while when you add them all up!

Thanks for that... so is the best way to buy the shell and the B44.1 under-shell and then use that to mark the B44 chassis? And then literally move the servo 3mm to the right when looking at it from the top?

That should work, but I bought a B44.1 instead so didn't end up doing it myself sorry.
