I'm just trying to get Lee to confirm he still definitely wants to cancel it as i need to know how many entries he's had (just in case we're not counting any).

Will advise ASAP

If it helps I'd be willing to do the meeting without the outstanding catering (just this once). Obviously I'm trying to set a precedent here.

May be a more informal meeting is the way to go?

Elliott.

I think the issue may be more to do with timing and race control, how many are we up to now?

Surely Lee can knock uo a few burgers

Big thanks to Lee, Chris and Pete again for a good days racing with awesome food. Huge thanks to Jon for coming down to run it again for us all and for sorting out the heats for our Reedy style day - Certainly made it interesting and i think everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

Hope that's the case anyway, i think next time with a few more heats and say 5/6 rounds it would work really well!!

Top job once again by all.

the reedy style was certainly different, having never run that type of race before i was a bit in the dark has to how it worked but the software worked and its actually a very good format for club/regional meetings, a normal 10am to 5pm meeting would give every racer 8 races rather than the current 4 plus a final, the racers need to be on the ball with regard to which heat and what crystal as it changes every round.

anyway congratulations to the winners (nick and Lee) thanks to the martin family for the hospitality, it was nice to see a b44 in the flesh and going really well.

Same thoughts here, with young Jordan very rarely getting into the A's it was nice to be able to race all the heats (race all day so to speak) and not "hang around" in the afternoon for the C final & marshalling half hour that he usually needs to put in.

But as said above great relaxed easy going day, Jordan keeps saying how much he enjoyed it. Thanks to everyone that helped make it that, all the racers, Lee & his mum & dad and John in race control get special thanks.

I would definately like to do it all the time!

just need to mix up the races a bit more, and have more to count, for example 3 from 4. because its about racing and not always about 'best time' 3 from 4 would work.

Reedy style sounds cool, it would definately tempt me to come to a couple of rounds if all meets are Reedy style.

As Jon said if we had more people and started at normal time we could easily get between 6-8 rounds so you could do 4 to count or something, would really appeal to people that way i think!

Yep i'm up for it again anyway!

I know it depends on Numbers but i think if you had 8 to 10 people and then did two line starts it would make it even better and probably a bit less carnage at the first corner - plus it stops the front row hanging back trying to play it safe

I liked it. I spent the day 'clawing' my way through the field. Picking off the crashers (not to say I didn't crash myself of course).

I prefer to chase. It's better practice. And I needs me practice.

I'm pleased with 7/13. I didn't think I would be that good.

I woke up at 7am, just in time to see Lewis cross the line in Japan.

Elliott.

I think there should be 3 rows.

the normal front and back rows (decided by heat), and the 'optional' chickens row at the back...

its only fair, some people don't want to be involved in the drag race to the first corner
