I think we have all probably been racing for long enough that we have 'gone down our own path' with the way we do things. Diffs, shocks, charging, motors ,etc,etc, I bet we all do it slightly differently, but I bet they all work!! Like bigred5765 said: each to their own. True dat.

This question really interested me so I asked AE for their opinion:

Mark,

Its very simple. The grease simply holds the ring in place while you assemble the diff.
