I would only use the outer 3 holes now. if it is really slippy then i would try the 3rd hole in from the outside first and see how it goes. Also have you got some weight in the front end?

is there any way you can loose weight in this car other than change of electrics and cells?

As mine almost comes up to the 4wd limit!

titanium screws and turnbuckles?

if the car goes well, why shed weight? I think the excess weight helps keep it stable, and it certainly isn't slow!

Thanks a lot so far. Yes, I've put 20gr. on my steering servo. Well, I couldn't drive it yet thanks to the rain we've had for days...

I'll see how it goes.

Regards from Germany,
Chris

ran the RRCi RB5 yesterday at york with the atomic carbon shock mounts.

Excellent! they totally transofrmed the car, and with the change to the rear susp' mount that woody let us know about the car was planted!
Managing 15th overall in round 2! my best ever overall in round result.

I found that it gave the car a LOT more front end on the grass surface, and it held the rear too which resulted in it carrying so much more speed through the turns.

frustration trying to get past slower cars in round 3/4 saw me end up 2nd in the 'c'. Not a true reflection of the cars ability. If I'd got another clean run in without me making silly mistakes, it would've been mid 'b' easily.

Looking forward to batley now.

I finally can state that the shock mounts changed handling to the better, I managed to finish 3rd yesterday! Some pics here: http://www.rc-car-setup.com/index.php?p=billboard&id=3

It's my German site: www.rc-car-setup.com

How much for 1 of the rear towers shipped to Australia?

Just pulled my car down from yesterdays racing and discovered the rear tower is cracked across the mounting holes on one side
