I stopped in 97, came back in 2004 in the WRCA (WBL) and really, the racing has dissapeared, shame really, although some of the clubs are trying to make a comeback, but we have lost Neath (cracking tracks) and Abergavenny.

The Lane brothers gave up in the mid 90's, Denner gave up inbetween 97 and 04.

Default That pond

Yes I remember that pond. Hehehe well it was a fun weekend so cant really grumble.

Neath has gone, blimey that was a good track and that jump was superb, and the straight. I liked Caerwent indoors circuit, i wonder if thats still going or it got sold. Abergavenny was good as well. What about Swansea, do they still race at that show?

Gutted. So how if you live in Wales can you qualify for the regional finals if there are no races? Isnt there one event that could be used?

Well when Whitney, Evans finished then the rest faded to. It just kept going downhill big time. I still enjoy racing and was bored so bought a few cars and gear and im back to have fun. Preferably indoor buggies only but may be convinced into a few regional events like the last one two years back when i sold my original buggy.

So are you saying that I will no longer be able to overgear like I used to ?

Heck that was so much easier than having to set the car up. Gutted and my esc is capable of so much more, so may have to see if i can do it, and hope the batts can handle it.

Bellends track is cool, and will give it a try with my buggy at the end of this month, as the nitro wasnt as good as id hoped, when i was last there, so am selling it to a chap from powys when im there. I havent a clue what this cars gonna go like, but if i can set it up on his track then i wont need much for the carpet.

Does schumacher still sell buggy shock springs? If i can get a set then my original setup will be fine for in and out.

Anyway back to inserts, as i said earlier I like Losi and Proline, the big soft white ones. What else is available now that could be in the same league as what used to be supplied with the standard Associated buggy? I wont use schumacher as the quality is never very good. So what is not spongey and not hard?

Good to hear someone else getting back into racing after years off, don't feel so lonely now
I see Dave sent you pictures, but you only saw the half done track. Now its covered and is as bumpy as the outdoor track that Sandra Harris ran down the road from Magor. Its a perfect set up track. I cant wait for the table top jump to be built. It was fun to practice on.

Me and Dave were trying to figure out who you are, sounds daft but only one face comes to mind but we are not certain if its you.

Yup that fits the bill, wasnt sure but now i am. Bang on. I loved winding Leonard up, I heard a rumour that he's locked up now, but cant confirm it. I know he got in a lot of trouble with a friend of his and was under house arrest about 7 years back.

Denner has been busy. Bang on!!!

Inserts are my big problem at the moment, so I am gonna try them all until I find one I like. I am tempted to stay with Proline as they dont seem to have changed, yes they have a few more ideas out but still the original is there.
