The new jumps make the track interesting. I Personally like them. Yes im a newbie driver and i get them wrong more than i get them right, but when i get them right it feels good and lap times are good.

The good drivers like Danny McGee, WoOdy and Chris Long are AWESOME over the jumps, and make them look a doddle.

i raced at southport on sunday for the first time and the back straight was very erratic, give me a decent double any day. But the rest of the track was consitant and a very good track for "racing" rather than Krypton factor obstacle course.

Each tracks has its good and bad points and thats what makes them different and keeps the sport interesting.

i think all english people moan about jumps!!!!

you moan when you dont have them....and wen you do have them you moan also!!!

this annoys me with my track.

people have begged and pleeded over al lthe forums, we want jumps, this that etc!!

finally you get what you ask for and then moan about it....

a flat grass track is about as boring as it gets, one pants wooden jump wont change that!

everyone i kno at racing wants to race in america....why?????

for the JUMPS!

people find my track an obstacle course, or so they say...my track has the most consistent jumps ever, you will struggle to find a more consistent track, and yet people still like to have a moan.

Woody, ignore it...its stupid...build the track how you want...you will never make everyone happy...fact of life.

the rest of you who dont like it...a little advice................

if you cant do it...............dont! until you have time to practice and get it right...when you can do it, u will start to appreciate what has been done..theres nothing better than someone with good car control, whether it be airborn or not....

rant over.

people seem to be getting angry!!

At the end of the day, the new feature is difficult. People are expressing their opinions. Some will like it, some wont. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

I hope most people will judge for themselves, and not be influenced by other people.

And what we mustned forget, Bury is a good track, a very good track run by good people.

You'll do better over 5 mins if you don't go-for-gold each time. If you crash on 1 lap you may well loose more time than if you take it steady on all the laps.

The back section at Southport is a good comaprison, if you are too fast for yourself if does get erratic, all you have to do is lay off the spuds a bit and it's fine.

I'm taking Vermin with me i'd guess Tom will give him a lift.

As for the tracks, i've raced at Southport just the once, and i love it, the back section is awesome a real challenge. I really like racing at Bury as well and i'm looking forward to trying the new sections out and making a real hash of them.

We should give our thanks and support to all the people who build and maintain the tracks we race on because without them we'd be screwed.

well we ran on the new OBSTACLES this weekend the double on the fare side of the track is ace now well done guys, love it.
But and its a big but, the triple is a right royal pain, now i love offroad and obstacles. but it so random and hard to get right even at a crawl it beaches the car, it really needs smoothing out so its bigger and has a nice approach ramp, its just to steep and to small and the same goes fore the landing step/ ramp.
sorry if it seems like a bit of a rant but, it really needs working on badly

have to agree.. the gaps in between the jumps are too big to double because there isnt enough speed for take-off..unless 4wd.
saw a good few snappages today.

the double/table top on the top left is ACE, i love it. but the tripples a little need work to be 100% spot on, in the wet it was hit or miss if you could clear them or not.. ussually not, but in the dry they were do-able.

They just need smoothing out, and the second one along moving closer, or the first one moving away.

great day today, it was enjoyable non the less.

I think it would be far more constructive IF the views on the new track features came ONLY from racers, and not fathers or mechanics, only then can the club gauge whether or not work needs to be done.
After experiencing this first hand, spending nearly 2 days getting the ground ready, laying a track out for a regional, only for a few fathers/mechanics to do nothing but critasise the hard work, you and the rest of the host club, put towards trying to create a good track and meeting.

true Brian, but that is the view of the driver and the mechanic and about 10 other drivers that were there,
they do need work and could become fantastic, with very little effort and time
they are just a little to short and sharp,
