At those dimensions no need for a centre rib
my old b4 cause it was ali every one thought it must be heavy...in fact it was with large radio gear and lipos over 400 grams under weight
a bit too much realy...should have left it hanging underneath like you have,
mine only took two panic strichened evenings though
but will try harder next time

p.s did you see my carbon yokomo ( Rebel cc4 )

Saw the B4 - shame it didn't survive - machining was nicer than mine

Saw the carbon carbon yok too : loved the "bio" shape

It did survive...i have just stripped its radio gear for my latest durango....( new one , washed out version of the proper 2005 prototype )
but hey ho!
my problem is that i am so full of ideas that as soon as i start one i want to do something else more extreme....any one that is mates with me will deffo vouch for that....they do get p!**ed off with hearing my new ideas......

Same here, drives the missus up the wall

New Durango might be a washed-out version, but still nice (enjoyed building mine and a blast to drive on carpet-looking forward to driving it outdoors)

Not something for this, forum, but still proud of it : the remains of my most ambitious project so far

5th scaler designed and build from the ground up

It seems to be working really well over here, but the thing is there cars always seemed to be bread around there clay style tracks and rear engined cars...

Although it would be nice to see one from them i think it would be highly unlikely

Managed to make a halfway decent coke bottle body (I won't pretend I succeeded on my first attempt ) and get it painted

Just need to save up now for an 7.5t and a low profile servo to get it running

WOW!

Best Coke bottle body I've seen up to now! Really like the shape and the paint job really sets it off!

The car itseld looks insane too!

Let us know how it goes once you have it running!

Tom, the mould is made out of balsa wood - very easy to shape + I made a jig (like the tutorial) to be able to form the side-pods

The balsa is very easily damaged, however; if I ever do another one, I'd make it out of something more durable

Btw: anyone know if someone makes +1 degree b4 rear hubs - the car now has 3 degree toe in - and from what I've been reading , it would be nice to have a 4 degree option available (and I'm too lazy at the moment to make a four degree toe-block )
tnx
