You couldnt be more wrong there are too many differences to list a konw as i have just got a rat for spares.

paul does your esc stop dead brakes or are they slower with 5.5turn motor

The wheels stop but it skids.Im running a speedpassion gt2 esc with a speedpassion 5.5 motor. Works really well.

so take it that it takes longer to stop then with the power. my 10 turner and 8.5 stop dead . but the 5.5 takes longer to stop

it all depends on the rotor you use, if your 5.5 uses a bonded rotor, your brakes will be very soft, I have a 6.5 in the 4wd, and on the road, it will lock all four wheels, I have a bonded 10.5, and it couldn't stop a rampaging field mouse.

Its just the same pricipal as with a normal car if you slam the brakes on at top speed no matter what size engine the car will slide.

paul weigh the bits for me and i will get a price for you. i use kitchen scale i got a price list in front of me. how many grams does the parts weight how did you weight your car with kitchen scale
