I don't think that's a good idea. Tamiya anti wear grease isn't designed for high rpm applications but more for slow moving, high load applications (a bit like copper grease in full scale cars).

no so my 3.5t in my 416 with a lipo isn't high rpm not designed for fast moving parts!!

My last set of gears lasted about 14 minutes worth of run time......set before lasted about 20 minutes worth of racing

Could be the heat that tranfers from motor to the aluminum gear that wears the plastic gear
