Got my entry confirmation today, in for both classes and all events.

I know you had your heart set on doing each one, sorry that you didn't get in mate. Like someone said earlier, one step at a time, im sure your sick of hearing that now... but anyway, stay calm, be nice to Jackie and keep everything crossed!

I was lucky to start doing nationals as an F4 before they became oversubscribed. I suppose being on the reserve list is just something which will happen now our class is so popular.

That's the right attitude Ashley, and thanks to Chris for your encouraging words as well.
It's still only the first day of entry confirmation, plenty of time yet, and like Chris says, even if you aren't racing you can still attend, I am sure there will be loads of people who would appreciate pitting help! Even better there might be a last minute availability.

At one of the nationals last year i was 18th on the reserve list, and got the call from jackie there was a space if i wanted it so don't give up you stand a good chance of getting in for a few meetings.

Go to the meetings with your kit.
I was reserve for both 2wd and 4wd at Southport and Batley last year and got to race all four.
Some racers don,t bother to inform Jacquie that they are not attending. See jacquie before booking in starts to let her know you are there with your kit and rareing to race.
Even if you don't get to race im sure Oswestry members could do with your help during the weekend, marshalling for them if they have a major car rebuild or turning there cars on/off.
Keep the faith Ash and those fingers crossed.
