See this in its context: on the B4 nothing is a must do upgrade, top drivers build the car and win the Worlds with it. For the less fortunate amongst us, only the ball cups are important, std ones are fine untill you pop them off a few times for set-up changes.
Losi shocks are for many people simply a lot easier to get a consistent feeling.
And the S2 was obviously a joke, although it is still possible to buy one second hand.
