I had accidentally managed to mix my 2 sets of hobbyking saddles up and both are now out of balance. When I charge (always balance) I can only get to ~8.2v before the timer cuts out on the charger. I will have a got at this, although I presume that I could simply do a 1s standard charge without the need for the lead as saddles have the 4mm bullets per cell?

yeah, you can do 2 x 1s charging on a pair of saddles to get them up to 4.2V each.

Only issue is unless you get them paired up properly (don't you have a big number 1 on top of one pair and a 2 on the other?) they will have slightly different discharge properties, as i doubt both pairs have seen exactly the same duty since they were bought........... one pair will be slightly more aged.

Yep. Indeed I do, but for some reason I mixed them. I suspect that it was once I was in a rush at Manor club in warmup and broke my yz2 so quickly swapped to my Bmax2 before start and grabbed the first batteries I could find...
