Try some plastic tape wrapped 1/2 way around the circumference of the bearings (wrapped 1/2 way so it is easy to get the bearing into the part). Works wonders tightening up the wheels.

Then the shimming/oringing will start, lol. But the front end will be totally slop-free.

Thanks for the suggestions. I was able to shim it up with 0.04mm and it worked wonders.

The other issue I noticed, I had a little slop in the front hub carriers... just enough to shift a little on the kingpins. I added a single shim and that took care of the rest of my front wheel wobble.

Not easy to call from work during office hours

Edit: Got home to an email apologising that the hex's are out of stock and likely to be a couple of months before they come in!!

Not exactly a great start - guess I'll be ordering from the USA after all!
