Sorry to drag this thread back from the depths but I am in need of ideas/inspiration for the paint job of the ZX-5 as it nears completion. I would love to see what schemes people have chosen for their cars, or even just images of other peoples off the web. Come on, let's all have a look!

Looking good. Love the nice simple design. I am looking at something similar myself as I will be using cans rather than airbrush.
Anyone done any dark colours? I was toying with the idea of black and white but not sure whether the Kyosho shell will look as good as it does with brighter shades.

I did mine in black and metallic red and I think it looks ok. I reckon some white stripes along the joins between the colours might make it better though.

Here's a pic (hopefully), but it looks better in daylight (and I'm no photographer!). And be nice, this is the first shell that hasn't been single colour from a single spraycan

Thanks Scouser You've got a keen eye for bling! I figured I was going to replace the front suspension holder sooner or later - may as well do it before ripping a gear case up. That and the leaking shocks which were already starting to bug me

Clunk: that first shell is beauuuuuuutiful
