On faster corners too (especially on power) the plastic steering can't keep the wheels cranked over no matter how strong your servo is as it all just flexes.
On my 44.1 I used to use the carbon Ackermann plate and bushings from the BJ4, currently on the .2 I have an ebay special all alloy setup - which I'll be swapping for the JConcepts alloy/carbon parts which have just been released.

Saying that Craggy uses the standard plastic steering, I honestly don't know how his car has as much steering as it does - besides the obvious magic thumbs
Saw the alloy/carbon steering a while back and have been waiting for it to be released. You haven't got a part number or where I can get hold of them by any chance have you Richard?

Thanks

Cheers Danny, will keep an eye out for when they arrive. Really looking forward to getting these on my B44.2 was one of the best things I did to my centro ditching the plastic and using the alloy assembly.

Yep the JC bellcranks are due anytime soon now and I've a few sets on pre-order

Just going back to the setup discussion though Allan, how have you got the Ackermann set on your car?? Just thinking that could have an impact on how pointy the car is......

Currently working on my Dad's car just now, have just rebuilt the shocks etc. The ackerman is currently set to the holes closest to the rear.

I was gonna try that alloy set too, but when I felt it in another car It seemed to have a bit of slop. This could have been other front end parts to be fair, but wheels had more side to side play than on mine.

Been holding out for the JC one since then.

Okay I've a couple of things you could try, if you've built the steering assembly as per kit you could try flipping the Ackermann plate which alters the positions slightly.

Also it doesn't need much only the slightest of adjustments but you could possibly slacken off the front diff as well - But just in the slightest of increments.

Flipping the Ackerman plate and running in the front holes will calm it down in slow corners but high speed it will make it more twitchy.

There's not many high speed corners on a track mainly slower ;0)
