Check your instruction manual. Both in the instructions and in the Tuning Section you'll find suggestions for a starting point.

Adjusted the belt, much better now, will finish setting at the regional tomorrow. I'll have a much better idea of it all in a week or so as my upgrade kits arrived now, so I'll actually know the pulley sizes etc after all that's fitted!

Couple of quick questions, does anyone know of a good screwkit to get (just for spares, not fussed about material), I always strip loads and have no imperial size spares at all?

Also, am I right in thinking Losi spurs are yellowy plastic? I think the previous owner must have fitted an aftermarket one, it has a very thin White plastic spur with no company/size markings I can find!

X-Factory do all the screws for your car in seperate packets or better still you can buy the Torx complete screw set from DDP which covers the whole car. Both are listed on our website.

Losi spurs are no good, not enough teeth. The white spur is an X-Factory one.

I now have stainless steel screw kits available for the X-5 and X-6 kits.
The X-5 kit even includes the stupid small screws for the bottom belt cover.

Are you at Shrewsbury tomorrow Dom? If so how much are the x5 screw kits, and do you have spare spurs? Pm me if you prefer!

I will be at Roddington, yes.
The screw kit is £15.99, I also have spur gears in stock.

dave a little tip on the screws might be a obvious one, but we use to strip loads, get a little drill bit that will fit inside the hole in the screws and clean em out before trying to undo them,
