tlr22 too wide with minipins

I just saw this thread tonight.
for the french National we use mini pins and calibers. both are a problem when it comes to fit in the damn box!
the best solution is to cut the outside inner leap (2mm) so that you can mount the tire more inside the rim.
to make this easier to glue, you can use the trick mentioned earlier on this thread by nicVEGAchildJR.
you can also turn the tire around, polished side out and written side in. it helps a little bit (for mini pins at least)
this should allow you to use any toe block you want

The BRCA box WILL be being used at this event (and all others) and the control tyres will be Schumacher Minipin OR Ballistic Buggy Minipin on the driven axle

We tried several cars (22, X6, RB6 and SV2) all in the box on Sunday with Minipins on and they all fitted fine, only car that seemed to have an issue with width was the TM2 that I saw, but with modifications they could fit too...

As already said, mount the tyres with the sidewall writing inwards and mount the inside first making sure the overhang is inwards, then when dry mount the outside and it will have FAR less overhang (and therefore be legal and fit in the box easy)

Tried Darren's way today gluing inside first and overhang reduction was less than I expected. Is it better to glue outside first as nicVEGAchildJR does?

I dont, I always do the side first one the overhang is there and in place....
