Great meeting and a big thanks to Dianne for organising it all. Also a big well done to the Holdsworth brothers on there victory. Luke inparticular is driving well beyond his 11 years. A definate star in the making.

Good to hear that so many enjoyed it - lots of very positive feedback. I think it is something that we could put in the calendar for next year, if there is enough interest.

Would not want the meeting to be much different in size though - I think the numbers attending was just about right - maximum 60.

I am glad that my son Mark came visiting because while he was running race control it gave me the time needed to do the scoring. I was pleased to see that there was much interest in the scores after each race - and not just from the youngsters!!

One of the U13s from 5th to 11th position must have lost their 'badge' from the case as one was found in reception and handed in to me. If anyone has lost it please let me know.

I would also like to say that the way the points were allocated, you did not have to be a top driver to get good points - 2 of our new drivers, Lee Edwards and Andy Walden finished in 2nd place - scoring consistently in their heats.

Agree with James - well done Luke and Josh Holdsworth - great racing and well deserved win!

Many thanks for all the help at the start and end of the meeting - it really is fantastic to see so much help being given - this is just what the club needs, everyone doing a little bit - and it makes it so much easier and quicker for all concerned.

On behalf of Luke and Josh ,

thanks to Dianne and everyone for a really well organised and enjoyable day. A bit hard to keep both cars up to scratch all day;I worked with Josh whilst Luke rebuilt his gearbox by himself.

Luke always says he enjoys racing with Batley - good tracks and nice peole who encourage the youngsters - surely that will secure the club for many years to come.

Thanks again.
