Yes, I see now the uptravel limiting problem, so I will change to the correct ones.

As to droop it's really really insane... when I built the car I thought "this must be totally wrong!" But it worked great on the track...

Now again, the correct ones might work better of course

Are people using external limiters on the shock shafts at the rear. I'm using the 1.0 shocks and 1.0 shafts. Didn't use any limiter the first time out and made a propa mess of cvd shafts.

"half a B spacer" would be about .060, or 1.5 mm.

Is a B spacer smaller than an A spacer

It's probably whichever is the smaller on my car. I know the chassis still bottoms out before the shock fully compresses, with like 1mm left or so?

No, B is ~4mm, A is ~3mm.

Went racing with it at Chester Le Street riverside Tuesday Night. Jarrow Club. What a great night in the sunshine.
Anyway, I had put two Schumacher 1.65mm spacers outside. Seems to have done the job. Might change to B spacer to keep it "Foreign"

If you want to run Losi shocks you'll have to find someone selling them or buy the individual parts. You want .6 for the front and 1.0 for the rear.

The primary reason why many Team drivers use Losi shocks is because that's what they have in their pit boxes. Ellis, Brian, and Greg all came to us from Losi, and our first car, the X -5, defo used Losi shocks. Paul was never a team driver, but he drove Losi for his entire career prior to X Factory.

Brian is now using Kyosho shocks. Many of the newer Team drivers, especially in the U.S., use AE or Kyosho.

The official statement from X Factory to the Team is: We don't make shocks, so we don't care what you use.

Our set-up sheet now includes info for all three brands on the same set-up.
