Feeling much more comfortable with the DB1 now. I think my driving has become a little more consistent, but still need to speed up a bit. For the second time in 3 meetings I managed to hit a stationery car on the fast straight. My eyes just cannot pan that far when joining the straight. Amazingly nothing broke
other than a bent hinge pin holder. Did manage to break a shock cap, but, hey, flying ants in your eye do tend to distract you slightly. How come these things only happen on the fast sections. Must learn how to drive a final. Too many mistakes on the first lap leave you with a lot to do. Overall though, happy with my driving, and cannot praise the DB1 highly enough.
How come no 4wd Brian? Been waiting to see what you think of the Lazer!

He took it out for a test and I think he broke something. Brian is loving his DB1.

He shredded his spur gear in practice on the FS2 John, but looked ok with the DB1.

Hi John. Yes. Clever me. To be honest I think the spur gear may have been damaged for some time. It had managed to sneak through my quality control checks. No one believes how long I have had the FS2. I always manage to stretch out the build time. When the build had been completed, I had some issues. These were mostly electrical. Having then got the Vega, swiftly followed by the DB1, my time was prioritised in 2wd. Now, having found a little time, thought I should give 4wd a bash. Obviously I overlooked the spur mesh during my back garden testing. Good job I went prepared on Sunday with spare cars. Me being me, thought the best way out of a problem was to use the DB1. Good decision, as it saved me losing any track time, apart from some damage in the heats. Well pleased with the DB1. Reckon this is one car even Mickey will be hanging onto for a while. Unless of course he invests in an RB6.
See you soon.
