Real shame to see people damning this kit which looks very nicely done.

Having played about making a 1/16 version of the the x2c (for brca micro 2wd) I really can appreciate the costs and time that have gone into this. It took me days just to mock up the 1/16 car to see if it would work!

Some people will think it's worth spending the money on and will make the ansmann car substantially better. If you don't like it then don't buy it!

Would love to have a chat about making a smaller chassis for my 1/16 car!

I could be wrong, but looking at the Team Xtreme/Vega site, I don't think their prices include VAT and ours do. Unfortunately we are VAT registered so we have to add 20% to our prices for EU customers...

All pre-orders have been dispatched to customers and we still have some of these kits available. We'll be running at the Mid East regional at Grantham this Sunday, so come and have a look!

There is a link to a Youtube video below. The black car with the yellow wheels on pole is the original prototype during testing.

I think we were testing a carbon chassis at this meeting, which didn't seem to work as well as the aluminium, but it should give an idea of how the car goes.

So after testing the AKX2 for a while, I have been able to finish 4th over 30 at the CML OffRoad trophy placed at Louvres in France.

It was just great and the AKX2 has proved its stability.
Batteries were placed as X2C standard

I will now try another battery configuration and give you information about this.
