Tried that but its not working the file does say 956kb for one of them is that too big? I'm a bit think with these things

Go to your profile, here or by clicking on your name at the top right after the welcome message.

On that profile page you should have the option to create a photo album - via that you can upload some photos (any size - they will be resized by the forum).
After you've added a photo you can view it and there's a link (bbcode link) which you can paste into the post to display your photo
