I've sourced them brill..

Then they should allow you to race it as it IS 250mm wide like the max width says.I measured it as well so i know mine is right and if they moan then i`ll demand they allow it. If it rubs so what, it means its 250 wide, if it jams then its too wide. And also why would a company make a car thats not right. The Brca box must be too high then as its tyre width not axle width.
We use the Brca micro gauge which is wheel width not axle width when i run mine micro. So why the 1/10th is a box is beyond me

1/10th off rod has used a box for longer than i can remember, also, it's the full travel of the suspension (up and down) that is checked which usually means if your car is bang on 250 in a natural state, it would be under 250 when pushed down and greater when raised up so would rub on the box and not be legal.

Same rules for everyone and demanding they make an exception for you won't get you anywhere other than an early journey home! (certainly not at the nationals or for that matter the regionals i've attended)

As Liam said that's the rules and it does include the axles. A lot of the cars are close or don't fit, so they get modified to suit. A standard Rat/monkey/x2c etc will fail.

Here you go, just put a 1mm washer on the outside and use the bronze 2mm spacer on the inside next to the screw, the wheels may just rub the hub but if you put a tiny camfer on the edge of the hex fitting it's fine. If you dremel a little of the hex away or use kyosho wheels you can put the 1mm washer on the inside as well to go a bit narrower still, quite handy if the tracks slippery.

Brill, the parts arrived today, this works a treat much better than filing the plastic hex down and much narrower too.

Cheers Chalkie.

Sweet!
