noob quesion about battery fitment

the picture, attached to the first post, is a car in rear motor setup.
The little housing, you are talking about, is not used in mid motor setup.
If you run stock mid motor setup, there should be no problems with the hight of the lipos.

I also have a set of the zippy saddles... Sorry to say their just too big for the car... I gave in andbought 2 sets of orion carbon batteries... The zippys are too big to run in the 22 and again with the electrica everything has to b soo compact the main problem with the zippy lipos is that they will fit once u go mid conversion but the shell wont fit on... Thats where i struggled...

how about running them side by side? Is there really no way they will fit even if you could the side panels around?
