Because a mold can only make 15 or so parts before it becomes un-useable.

Any chance of making some machined/milled G-boxes? With enough interest for sure the price per unit would be low enough? Jonathan @ AC seems to be able to get them done cheaply.

is there a setup somewhere about Nathan's car from last year EIR-race, Fabs.
I'm kinda lost in my setup and would like to start from a basic decent setup.

This is only if you use the forward holes on the aluminium hubs and forward holes on the inner holders though. However we always use these on high grip, and on low grip there is no clearance issue with the wishbones flipped...

Now for the shocks, they've managed to better the velvets! There's now an o-ring at the base of the thread for the small black cartridge cap, which means it's not going to unscrew itself anymore, and they provide X-rings as standards. Pistons are 5 x 1.2mm holes, wich big chamfers on both sides but not really tapered.

X-Gear springs are very nice and have quite a bit of clearance over the bodies so they're not gonna rub either. I have already calculated the spring rates...
Hi
Can anyone post a link to webshop who has the BB-shocks and the x-gear springs..

Any photos of the BB-shocks mounted on a RB-5 / RB5MCS?

I have a few questions.

what's that about flipped A-arms?
When to use the A-arms in what position?

I use the A-arms with the inner shock-mounting positions to the rear.
Also I have the springs of my regular shocks touching the camberlinks.
I can't imagine using the BB-shocks without clearance-issues.

I know there are different length A-arms. WHich ones to use in what conditions?

To be able to fit the BB without too much interference you most definately need the aluminium rear hubs. I highly recommend the 1 degree ones on any surface anyway.

I've also recently found out that using the plastic balls for the shock bottoms on the shock caps moves them slightly closer to the tower and helps with clearance (it also looks better), you'll need a shorter screw however.

Flipping the rear wishbones shortens the wheelbase by 6mm, which is very useful on low grip as it provides a lot more forward traction.

PS: did you receive the tower in time?

towers received in time, positive.
Mounted one immediatly, just in case.

When said: flipping over: in what direction are the A-Arms when they are flipped over? with the inner shockmountinhole to the front?

I was just waiting to get more news about where the gearboxes were. It seems the transporter was having issues finding the house, now they have my number so they should ring me tomorrow to sort something out, maybe even pick it up from the depot. As soon as I have the gearboxes and I'm happy with them I'll let you all know.

Do you have a anti-squat chart for the MCS?
