Having watched the UFO race, I'm still non the wiser on what it was all about. Anyone care to enlighten us? Looked like carnage, with a totally random truck doing everything but going round the track..

UFO race really is just a bashing session and for some of the top guys to show how high and far their car can jump. Just a bit of fun. For some it is like marmite, you either love it or hate it!

Great weekend Massive thanks to Nicholas and the Ardent team for hosting this fantastic event. I didn't do as well as I had hoped, the standard of driving was unreal. At least I did well in the raffle!

Congratulations to Lee and Bradders, Awesome racing. It was amazing to watch.

An Lee built all of their cars in preparation for the PetitRC race. Shame not to see Lee up there after all that hard work I think the 511 would have suited him better.

Thanks to everyone who came, hope we put on a good event, we are all bloody knackered, track and entire facility is WRECKED but that's what it's there for, for RC racing and having FUN :-) and boy did we enjoy it. Back of the track at 10:00 this morning to clean up and turn it back into a TC track ready for opening time tomorrow. 20 hours sleep over 6 days solid work but it was all worth it for the atmosphere. :-) hope you want it back for next year. John. (Fire Warden)

Basically its a no rules do whatever you like race so cutting the track, take outs going the wrong way around the track is legit hence why i was doing all of them. Every time i did a loop the loop all i could hear was the guys next to me laughing which is what its all about. Just gutted i never seemed to hit them when the were coming over the ramp the other way.

Thanks to Nicolas, John and all of the team that helped build the track and ensure the event ran as well as it did...

A triumph of an event IMO

Oh and congratulations to Lee Martin, Paul Bradby & James Helliwell for their respective Event Wins

Awesome weekend well worth the trip up for the opportuinity to see the worlds best drivers battling it out. Huge thanks and well done to the Ardent crew, the meeting ran super smooth, everyone was really friendly, i met some really cool people, pitted with some top Turkish chaps and it all produced a fantastic atmosphere. Also a mention to MB models!, i spent half my weekend at the shop and they stocked everything! thanks chaps!

Personally i had a disaster in terms of results, mainly from car reliability issues on both days and a lack of carpet experience but it didn't detract from a fantastic weekend. Hupo's jump at the end.......lol, legend!

Thanks all!!!!

Thanks for the weekend and thanks to the Durango boys.

Thanks to SteveB too for assisting in wrenching my car when I didn't have enough time to do all of it and got me out for my heat!

Any pics or videos of Hupo's big air at the end?

Indeed, well done MB - I spent a few pennies there too!

The A final 4wd was great to watch, I had a look on TTCLIVE at the finals, TTRCLIVE is awesome, good live video chat and live BBK timing all on one page. Well done to Tony for the coverage

Looking forward to the pics/videos etc!

Well done to Lee and Bradders, great to see the Brits on top!
