Pidge TQ'd the 1/8th but had the engine cut and then found that the glow plug blew and it was hard to get the engine going again. He did managed to go for a bit longer but either the engine went again or something else went wrong with the RC8.

Not sure anyone else has noticed, but Lee had the fastest lap in EACH class if you look at the final results

I know he will be proud of that one!!

Showing Maifield the way home in qualifying is awesome!!!!!!

Yep well done to all, especially Lee M, and Tony T, those shells must be lucky. lol.

Just realised I made a big balls up though. Lee Farrer wanted a shell doing for the event....but I forgot all about it sorry Lee, I've been a bit busy. and the old memory is getting a bit old.

Very well done to the UK lads. What happened to Lee Farrer in his final? I would have been gutted to go all of that way and do 1 lap in my final. That could only happen to me!

Im pretty sure he crashed and a shock end pulled out.

The English Invasion did awesome this weekend, and were freakin hilarious.

Yeah it was a fantastic weekend, i drove crap in 4wd but made the A the car was so good but then caught a pipe wrong and pulled the shock end off as andy says. I was gutted but it was good to see lee chase maifield. I could not get the X6 to work all weekend it just had no steering midcorner, i did 2 clean runs and only put it 14th.

Lee cooked the engine in 1/8th so much so he melted his shell

Thanks to Jason, Allison, Andy and Tim for a great week, they really looked after us and we kept them amused. Also Ryan and frank are both legends and very funny guys.

Wow what an event!

Big thanks to everyone who helped us out over the week, Paul for the loan of the PT and the rotor, Frank for setting the truck up (and generally being a big help!), Jason for the tires, truck and (his only) Lipo for the 4wd final. Thanks to Jimmy B for the fantastic commentary over the week and the Hurricane RC club for the amazing and well prepared track. Not forgetting the rest of the JC guys we pitted with and everyone else that helped us out!

Most of all thanks to Jason, Allison and Andy for getting us over there to race in the first place, without you it wouldn't have been possible. I can't wait for next years event

Not forgetting of course our excellent waitress Tim!

I was a pleasure meeting all of you - I was seated across from the great Richard Lowe all week - was able to drive Mr. Farrer's car with the sticks, and polished by Oxford accent all week with Tony.

Lee Martin is also welcome at my house in the US any time - he has serious wingman potential..... does "wingman" translate?

I don't think I have much of a future as a waitress.

YESSS!.....erm I mean oh, erm what a shame Mr Martin.....New shell needed then?

only joking, do you realise how long it took me to paint them?

Mr Farrer, soz about the result matey that was a real bugger.
I realized I'd not sorted you a shell out at the weekend when I saw your old Losi being raced at Don Valley. Let me know if you still want one doing and I'll sort you one out.
