When you do reach that "certain age," the eyes start to go. I thought the control arms were original. There are lots of original cars out there with 4-Gears, as we made the Upgrade Kits. So, usually, the give-away is the control arms. When they are not side-by-side, it's difficult to tell the shock towers apart. Lots of owners got rid of the original servo mounts, and many more retro-fitted the new battery straps, so those two things are not definitive.

To make an XSC-60, you've got to do a number of things. First, and most difficult, is to lengthen the chassis about an inch. You need two chassies. Determine where you want to add the length and how much you will add, cut them apart and glue the two long pieces back together. Then, you must find a T4/B4 ball diff. Next, you should fabricate some sort of mount for the rear bumper. Find some tall touring car body mounts for the rear and you're good to go!

Writing from the kitchen at home on Sunday, so replying on memory. If you have an SC10 and want to make an X - 60 1/10 stadium truck, I think you are good to go except for the diff. You'll need a ball diff from a T4/B4.

I think the front end of the SC10 is identical to the front of the T4, so that should be good. Just unbolt it as the manual says. I think the topshaft & idler are the same, slipper is the same, rear hubs & CVDs are the same, so, except for the diff, it will work.

Wheels & tires different of course.

This is mine, Tested it in a race this past Saturday and I must say it is a very nice car, drove it with Ellis standard setup that you get with the box and the car was qualified 5th and finished 6th.

altough this paintjob is awesome I have a new body that is waiting for a more detailed paintjob soon

They are probably red and if so most likely they are the old Matt Francis ones from Trinity (no longer available sadly)

That is one very good looking car! Hope you are as fast as it looks.

In many ways I prefer the original body with its wrap-around window.
