cells are a real problem in all these old cars. I had to dremel my super dogfighter to get 3000mah cells in.

Dont worry dan, I will be using a 4900mah LiPo pack for a couple of runs!

BEen an arse, my hands are all covered in carbon fibre juice and its itchy... I drilled and dremeled my way to get the cells to fit.
painted the shell and stickered it - total rip off of someone elses design, I will post a link to his later when I find it, so thanks to him.

redone the rear shocks and added some ptfe take to stop them leaking.

just need to do a front body mount (might have found one) and the front shocks, and all the electrics!

phew.

I'm not sure what pitch it is but it is bigger than what we normally run. If you bring them along tomorrow i'm sure we can make something fit.

0.6? Don't think so, Ishy lent us some of them but they don't fit.

If I don't find a pinion I will have to run xx4 in vintage class

Definetly 32dp, probably a 14t or 15t.

Used to run one back in 1985, before Tom was a glint in the bearded ones eye!

Just got some old tyres acetoned off B4 rims for tonight, I've also got some proper old school cut and shut fronts rather than slims, no idea what they handle like though!

What's the time and where is york club these days? I'm afraid I'm unlikely to be able to help with the track as will be furiously fitting radio gear and trying to make cells fit in the car.

Shall I remove the link wire for the night? Hhhhmmmm, anyone got any old strong battery bars

I truly coudlnt be bothered to solder up a load of packs last night and try work a way of fitting them in the car - so I am gonna have to try and use one 4900mah LiPo for the night. Like dan says, its not for volts! lol. Not that it will make my car faster since the spur is too big and consequently I cant fit a big pinion on for this slow motor were getting.

On the comedy side, I put a 14x2 KR in to test it, and it almost shoot itself to death.
