Liking the red and yellow ones. Cool.

Not had chance to try the spaz annodised colours yet but looking forward to it when I do.
I think the two shells there are poles apart. The X6 is a beautiful shell to paint as it flows nicely and most design fit it perfectly, but the S4 shell is a nightmare to paint with all its lump, bumps and intakes and non flowing lines.

Jon, how do you make that carbon effect?

Myself I use a "anti skid mat" (rubber) as a mask, but it's hard to do for curved/bulky shapes. How do you get it so perfect "all over"?

Your work is not RC shell painting btw, this is true artwork!

peter - looks sweet mounted mate. hope youre pleased with it.


shy - i use anti slip toolbox liner also. just do bits of the shell at a time and try n get them lined up as best as poss.

Yep, same here, I have some 'pre cut' shapes to fit buggies and tourers etc. and I just do 1 pannel at a time.
You can't always get it into the creases properly so just concentrate on the flat and curved panels.
