Hi Mat.

Nice One fella
Glad you are enjoying the 'Robo'

I guess you now know how bloody long it takes to paint a shell when using vinyl !!!!
And.. the more detailed / ambitious you get with it the longer & more fiddly it all becomes

Are you using vinyl - or masking vinyl?

Cheers.

Andy

Yep! Its takes ages!

I find it very rewarding though! you can do a great deal more that you can by hand, But I think the best results are too be had using both.

I'm still using normal vinyl, The masking stuff's not arrived yet.
its working ok though, I have a few designs ready, I'm going to try and cover the Vinyl with LM next time. - You can only try it

This for tonight! Getting into my new cutter

Your not wrong!

I've just been using a few existing designs to get my head around my cutter!
And to figure out what it's capable of. Hope you don't mind..!

So far it's been pretty ace!

Ok! So I thought I would really push myself this time!
This shell ha taken about 8 hours of Design & Paint.

I'm really happy with the result, the logos etc are all painted not a single decal.
I've have to change a few sponsors purely because I can't cut much smaller!

Bear in mind this is a GT12 shell.

And the 1:1 origional!

Its not too bad, Doesn't look as good as the original, I can't do the logos any smaller. i've ordered a small decal sheet from eBay, so il fill it up a little more with those.

I need to get some masking vinyl too, The normal stuff ive been using is ok, But if you leave it down for any length of time it leaves a glue residue behind.

I have recently just invested in a small photo booth.

Nothing special just on of the pop "Tent" type. Coupled with a £5.99 LED lamp from Ikea, This is what I've come up with!
