What are people thoughts about trying what the X factory guys have been doing?

i.e. a rear hole bar, the additional toe in, I tried CVD for the last leg at the weekend and thought they were better although i have heard they tend to get "hurt" quite a bit so may end up changing them more often that usual.

Anything else that people think we should be trying?
Do you mean run a smaller spur gear and mount the idler on the motor plate somewhere.

Any news on the body that will be delivered with the CR2 conversion kit ?

Does it come without one at the moment ?

Cheers,
Erik

Everyone's just run the standard xxx cr body, it just needs a little trimming around the motor plate.

I have just added to the CR2 build tips page on the website, photos of the xxx-cr kit gear cover fitted to a RHD gearbox.

Hopefully the 1st proto slim CR2 shells will be ready in the next couple of weeks, my car is already fitted with slim side pods

And i hope to have the motor plate / chassis brace ready at the end of next week or early the following week.

Just started the build of my CR2 and wondered if anyone can tell me what make of bodypost they are using for the back of the shell and if they could post a closeup pic of where it should be located on the chassis.

Cheers

i'm using a losi bodypost mounted in the position of the last locknut at the back of the chassis. I think the body post is from the xxx-4 but it comes in a packet with something else, maybe the wingmount?
