Best thing to do is try and speak to some of the american lot. As they've taken over its design/production etc.

Did I get that right? They made us all hot with the nurenberg pics of last year but it wasn't seen anymore this time?

such a bummer, I really was thinking of getting something non-vintage and had my hopes on this

It made a couple of appearances at nationals and regionals last year in the hands of mr Skelding and it went over to the states where they ran 2/3 cars I think. But other than that...nothing....yet.

Adam must be gutted about it. I mean the project has seriously lost momentum, and the unravelling global economic situation can't be helping one bit. If it's not dead, my money is on it being shelved for who knows how long .

I would'nt hold your breath.....with Hayato Matsuzaki (current 2wd world champion and sponsored by HB) running an X6 Squared at the Japan Reedy Race, it looks very unlikely it is due anytime soon (if at all)

My clubfriend was in Nuremberg at the fair. He asked the people at the HotBodies corner for the D2. They said that Europe, USA and Japan could not agree on how they definitely the D2 wish to bring out (Aluminiumchassie, Plastikchassie I guess ...) That's the reason why they dont want the D2 bring out...

Sry for my bad english!

Default Project cancelled...

Some bad rumors told me recently that the whole project has been cancelled....it's a shame. If Schumacher is not going to bring out a 2WD car in the near future I'll never race the 2WD class again

Nooo, I sense a big conspiracy to make us all race 4WD where we have to buy and maintain twice the diffs and driveshafts. 4WD may be fun and faster, but it doesn't make the racing more fun, just more expensive...

Yep, me 2. I wonder if the sponsored hotbodies drivers have tested it yet.
I heard there were parts breaking in the testing phase, like the bulkhead etc..
I'm sure they want to work all the bugs out before it hit's UK and USA's markets.

Default Side pods

Does anyone know what company can manufacture the side pods for my project. I've been waiting for this car to be released and know I have a project buggy without side pods to mount my electronics. If anyone knows who can make me these plastic pods, please let me know. Thanks.

I used an old shumacher body with an undertray to mount the electronics outside of the chassis on my original ultima; so I could have the battery lengthwise inside the U-channel chassis
