Just heard from Bloomy on his way home, he won from fourth on the grid, from Neil in second from Ellis in third.

This is nothing confirmed but but i would suspect that bloomers might be unning a xx4 as mcgee ran his xx4 at ozfest and tricky did te same in the finals so maybe they are running the xx4's again.

Yes Darren is running a XX4, he does not even have a XXX4!

Good weekend for your cars Ashley, wins for the XXXCR and XX4.

Another good showing from Ellis with the X-Factory's and Neil was definatley in contention all weekend too, it is going to be a VERY close pair of championships this year and that is not forgetting all the other fast guys too (Tom, Phil, Lee, Chris etc etc)

Hey Griff, the weather was ace (for Welsh weather!!) and never known a ground to be soooo soft....

Glad for a good shower, my own coffee and a comfy bed later though....

To think, some people will still be travelling home..... poor buggers, we are unpacked, washed and knackered.... plus I got sunburn..... somehow!!

Not too good a weekend for me, thanks to the Transit lunching it's cambelt on the way there.

I got home almost as quickly on the back of an AA truck as I did the van and I didn't have to pay for the diesel.

Many thanks to the people who helped me get all my stuff back to the van after the meeting.

Enjoyed the weekend, the Talywain deserve a pat on the back! My only gripe is a small one, and thats because I struggle with distance - couldn;t judge the far sections of the track - but thats just me. The facility was ace, the track was good, and the locals were a good laugh down the pub (The Con) on Friday night.

I had a great weekend too, well done to the talywain organisers you did a great job.

My only tiny gripe was the positioning of the doubles or even the corners after them. My point being that the corners were immediatley after them and its always going to be a point where people crash, if the corners were an extra foot further on we would have been able to see our cars when others were being marshalled. Apart from that it was good.

but if you give more room to land after then jump, people jump further and still crash, it is a tough call, I think the doubles (tripples on Sat) were in the right place, squarely in front of the rostrum.

People may jump further but people were not crashing from overjumping, it was usually from coming up short

On Sat the tripple was pretty good, but I agree with Lee. When cars were being marshalled on sunday you couldn't see the run up to the top 'humped' corner. I think it would have been better putting the two jumps on the double a bit closer together, that way people wouldn't have to jump as far to clear them and there may have been less crshing there.

Other than that the track as ace, on both days. Got a bit slippery though.
