Instead of posting useless babble on all of these websites he should A: Sell one of his "pro level cars" and buy a vehicle that meets the class specifications at his local tracks and B: Go to one of the tracks 3-4 days a week and just practice.
give the dude a break perhaps some friendly guidance may help him instead of winding him up after all its only a sport

Some posts here make me feel uncomfortable. It started off as a friendly thread about a guy whose random posts I’ve found entertaining, unlike other people who feel compelled to pointlessly reply to anything & everything. Bmag might go off-topic, but other people post an equal amount of crap without having a thread dedicated to slating them. As far as I can see, Bmag’s posts aren’t malicious or written to upset people, just maybe a bit misguided. In return, some of the stuff posted about him has gone past a joke. He’s a guy who likes RC cars and goes racing like 99% of you here. This thread is an electronic version of classroom bullying. It’s not the kind of thing I want to find on Oople – give the guy a break

Righty ho,

Firstly this thread was made so BMAG could tell us about his setups and achievements. The guy is a legend and is either very clever and is playing us all or just plain nuts, either way he is a funny guy.

Whilst we may take the pee, i dont think anything that has been said is hurtful or cutting in any way. Until the last few days, when people who have come across from rctech etc who obviously know the guy have added their 2p`s worth. Some of the things have been a bit close to the bone.

Some people need to take a pinch of salt with what bmag posts, not all things are accurate but the guy is at least interested and passionate about the hobby.

I would much rather have someone like this in the hobby than a fast guy who will just drive through you because he thinks he has the god given right too.

Play nice boys

i think hes ace, and this thread is called "bmag appreciation club"

so appreciation is what should be here, i certainly dont want to upset him.

but it seems for every person who doesn't like him theres two people who love him.

Totally agree Gayo! C'mon guys! Assuming that you are polite, good hearted and intelligent persons you should be able to deal with this. Try to have some self irony and just laugh at the whole thing. And please drop those remarks that are way out of line.

If a guy with for instance Downs Syndrome came to your local track and wanted to race. Would you ban him? Or deny him to post on a forum?

You guys know better than this...

That being said I understand that he might be very tiring "live". And I have raced some guys myself over the years I could have done fine without. But hey, that's life!

So let the man continue to unwillingly give us a good laugh. And simply warn people not to take his advice seriously ok?

Good natured all the way, I just find him comedy gold so hope I've not overstepped the mark! Your class Bmag!

His misinformation on the main threads is a problem though...could we maybe agree that if he posts genuine setup queries etc in the playground section as well as the wrestling stuff, then we can all still help on the rc side?

I agree my posts have been off the chart Stupid, as is everyone else's post.
I do need a break as I just raced Friday and beat my B44 record at reo.
I got more laps in less amount of time, so the car will continue
to break records in my control. No I'm not the fastest guy on the track
but I do try to pull as many laps as I can in the time limit.

*When the fast guys come steam rolling by, I'm not afraid to let them pass.
Some people try to break the other person trying to pass though, I
have seen this in the act....racing dirty..

I have not even touched the surface of the 501x Worlds Edition, I
have not raced this chassis yet, just ran it at practice.
I got 17 laps in 6 mins at Albion www.action-hobby.com the last time I was there with the B44, so when it starts up again in November this year I'll try to tackle my old B44 record with a 501x Worlds Edition.

I have met a few famous racers in my travels, most of them are sponsored.

I am not sponsered in anyway, nor do I wanna be, because you have to win if you are contracted to.
A freind of mine is sponsored by Mugen Seiki, yet he has to place in the top 30 to stay afloat.

Do you think that is just coincidence?

Some good points there BMag!

It's good that you let faster drivers by. Better for everyone. Good sportmanship.

And it may be just as good to not be sponsored as you say. As long as you can afford it then you can choose whatever equipment you want to use. And you don't have the pressure. Just race and have fun!

Btw. have you tried racing trucks BMag? Those are very very stable & easy to drive. Can be a good idea to start with that for practise. Have you considered a T4?

One of the best quotes from RC tech

I'm a highly educated person like Paul S.
He's about as smart as me, but I cannot solder very good

From a wrestling video from you tube, this is his comment :

Very Good!
I fell like Austin right now.
I'm a pro rc racer and I'm getting abused
by those older racers. Yes being pro/champion has it's affects on anyone. Me seeing this made me feel better. Thanks whoever you are.

I gave those away Lee. I just left them at Linton. I bet ya nobody even used them and just threw 'em in the trash. They really looked horrible.
I bought custom made ones instead. I cannot solder period, just maybe wires together and that's it. Battery building is next to impossible for me.

Here's the packs I use in my cars.
