Orion r10.1 pro advice

Hi All,

Thanks for the last bunch of advice, I have now ordered a servo off the back of it!

Just a quick question for Orion R10.1 owners.

Do you have to run with the fan going when using a lower output motor (I'm using a 8.5) as I have noticed some ESC like the Reedy Black box do not even come with a fan as standard I think?

Depends what car you have it in. 2WD you will get away with out the fan I would say unless you are screwing the nuts out of it with turbo etc. 4WD 100% run the fan

Not necessary in 2wd. Probably advisable in 4wd though.

I'm running 2wd

I am guessing 99/100 if it got too hot it would simply shut down without damaging anything anyway (other than my race! lol)?
