Default Team C Hyde diff help

Wondering if anyone can help, just got hold of a Hyde stadium truck I stripped down the gearbox earlier as it would barely move and felt terrible, Discovered a melted diff gear, couple of diff balls were wrecked and there was lots of sludge so I want to know what options are there for a geared diff conversion? Just thought while it's in bits should I look into converting? The team c geared diff kit is pretty pricey so is there a cheaper option or should I just replace the melted gear and stay with the ball diff?

I don't know of a geared diff that is any cheaper than the Team-C.

I seem to remember that the geared diff kit comes complete with the wider gear casing, so you would still need to purchase that if you went for someone elses geared diff. (I'll check that though ;-) )

I use the Team-C geared diff in my TC02C as it is a lot less bother than a ball diff.

If you are looking for a transmission that will be trouble free whilst you wrestle with all the other things that need sorting then the geared diff is your best bet.
