The Ninja is not a Tamiya release, but was made by Marui. The tires are not original, btw, as the Ninja tires have a different thread pattern, without spikes, but more rectangular shaped threads. Dynamite Racing is an independent company making RC tires.

No problem, over time things get mixed up, like non original tires on certain rims, as well as memory sometimes playing tricks. The Ninja was my first hobby grade RC car, so I know it pretty well, and kept it for nostalgia's sake.
