Had this masked up for ages - found it the other day while painting another shell and thought - what the hell and just went for it with the scalpel and free-styled on the liquid mask.
Wasn't worried if it didn't work out as it was for me - but I really like it. Gold is the way to go

Managed to finally 'get back in the saddle'
Various shells in various stages of paint - all will be done very soon. Here is a DB2 Shell for Phil in same style as the rest of his fleet.  This is an AE B5M Shell for Allan O'Brien in his trademark 'Hot Pink'

Spent the last couple of days painting two 10th scale tourers - took bloody ages and damn these things eat paint & vinyl!
Will post pictures tomorrow - but they look cool

Pushed the boat out with these touring car shells for Jonathan Hawkins as he was super patient with me. Took a couple of solid days to complete these - it's all paint.
Hope you like them J. P.S It started to rain when I took the pictures if you can see the odd rain spot!

Wow Andy they look amazing!
You really are a master at this - they are definitely worth the wait You will certainly be getting more shells to paint from me in the future (assuming i've not put you off touring car shells for life!)
